A’ja Wilson is one of the most, if not THE most, dominating player in the WNBA. Today, she is widely recognized as one of the best women’s basketball players of her generation. She is known for her incredible versatility, basketball IQ, and leadership on the court.
A’ja played for the University of South Carolina under head coach Dawn Staley, where she earned national recognition for her incredible skills and leadership. She was selected as the first overall pick in the 2018 WNBA draft by the Las Vegas Aces and has since become one of the most exciting and impactful players in the league.
As a high-profile player in the WNBA, Wilson has used her platform to raise the visibility of women’s basketball. She frequently advocates for the recognition and support of the league, its players, and the women’s game as a whole.
